Day 1 | There is ony one airline into Iceland, so this evening you depart your home city to a USA or Canadian Iceland Air gateway. Iceland Air flies from Halifax, Toronto, Boston, Minneapolis, Washington DC, Orlando, Newark, and Denver, so we will meet you at one of those gateways for your overnight flight to Keflavik. |

Day 2 | Tired after the overnight flight, you can check into your hotel in Reykjavik, the world's most northern capital, and rest a little before heading out on foot to start exploring the city's magnificant lake. |

Day 3 | Today try your first geothermal spa at the Blue Lagoon in Grindavik. Temperature is a comfortable 100 degrees Farenheit and the water contains silica and minerals for a relaxing experience. In the afternoon return to Reykjavik for a walk at the harbor area. |

Day 4 | Depart Reykjavik this morning for a drive to Gullfoss to see the gigantic waterfall on the river Hvitá. Next head to Strokkur to see your first geyser. This geyser erupts about every 4-8 minutes to a height around 65 feet. |

Day 5 | Today drive to Vik on Iceland's south coast. You'll see the stunning Eldhraun lava fields and the sea rock formations of Dyrholaey. Also, this is a popular birding region and the town has a black sand beach. |

Day 6 | Ride the Ring Road to Vatnajökull National Park with Europe's largest glacier and an active volcano. We'll take some easy hikes in the park to explore its unique beauty. |

Day 7 | Say good-bye to Scandinavia this morning for your flight back to North America and home. |
